Born in Cuba, Matilde came to the United States via the Pedro Pan program at the age of nine. She finished her high school education at Miami Beach High. Upon graduation from Florida International University she worked at Price Waterhouse & Co. as staff accountant and later on had her own practice as a C.P.A. for 10 years. She also held the public positions of councilwoman and mayor of a municipality in Miami Dade County.

Matilde’s performance record shows a high degree of professionalism and hard work with an accompanying enthusiastic personality. Her proven degree of persistence best serves her clients' goals.
